Some History

The Lazarus House began as unselfish conception that has transformed into a flourishing reality. The building, located at 4106 Austin, was once a four-plex apartment in need of much repair. With the help of several voluenteers laboring hundreds of hours and donating thousands of dollars, it was renovated not into a house, but a home where many have since found hope, courage, strength and happiness.

Revitalizing the Community

The Lazarus House offers a unique multi-disciplinary program that focuses on the body, mind and spirit of cachetic clients through an integrated program of exercise, nutrition, mental and spiritual awareness.

It is the primary goal of The Lazarus House to promote the health of the chronically ill and help them stand stronger longer.
